Education - Children’s get smART! ClassesThe museum's get smART! program for children makes learning about art fascinating and fun! During the school year, teachers are invited to bring their students to the museum for a 45-minute tour and talk geared especially for kids. Museum education coordinator Alison McMurry gives children an introduction to color, media and technique, along with history and fun facts about each new exhibit. Funded by the Marion Jordan Charitable Foundation, the get smART! program is FREE to school groups and also offers assistance with bus fees. It's a great way for kids to enjoy a museum experience in a cozy and convenient setting.
