“Moonstruck” is the Cahoon Museum's second national juried exhibition. We are seeking to shed light on how artists from around the country are using the motif of the moon today. The exhibition will run at the Cahoon Museum from Sept. 21- Nov. 7, 2010.
Juror Anne Heywood is a noted pastel artist with studios in East Bridgewater, MA and Waldoboro, Maine. While excelling in pastels, she admires talent in a wide range of mediums and styles.
The competition is open to all artists 18 or older who live in the United States.
Entry fee is $25 for three works.
Deadline for entry is June 25, 2010.
Awards will be given: First Prize: $1,500, Second Prize: $1,000, Third Prize: $500, Honorable Mentions: $100 and Visitor’s Choice: $250.
