DESCRIPTION:Learn about and sample the elegant wines of Spevak Winery paired with delicious hors d’oeuvres by Edible Creations by Gerry at the Cahoon Museum’s Art of Wine fundraiser. This curated evening features gorgeous wines\, music\, food\, and a chance to win an original artwork by local artist Trevor Watson. Proceeds support the museum’s art access and educational programs. \n$45 per person/$35 museum members. DESCRIPTION:Art historian and curator Cindy Nickerson takes an in-depth look at the work of 20th century Cape Cod folk artists Ralph and Martha Cahoon. Nickerson will trace their evolution from furniture decorators to fine artists whose work was collected by many socially prominent people – including First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy – from the 1950s through the 1970s.
