Look at nature in a new way! Biological illustration consists of keen observation of the subject and recording what is observed, while focusing on form and function.  Using approachable media such as graphite pencils, blending stumps and a kneaded eraser, students will have various opportunities to practice and sharpen their observation skills.  Instructor Wendy Chadbourne is a Certified Medical Illustrator and the founder of Inky Mouse studios, a freelance illustration studio specializing in veterinary, medical and scientific illustration. She has created illustrations for a wide range of clients including MRI clinicians, veterinary surgeons, scientific researchers and zoological facilities.  Participants of all levels are welcome and materials will be provided.

$45 per person/$35 museum members
