Come create a range of textured colorful papers using Gelli Printing, a monoprinting process that does not require a press. After exploring textures and layers, make a collage from your papers inspired by the Donald Saaf exhibit. A wide range of tools and materials will be supplied as part of the workshop.
Instructor Christine Martell has been teaching a wide range of techniques for more than 30 years. Of all media, Gelli printing is her favorite topic to teach because anyone can be successful whether you think you are artistic or not. She holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and MS Education from Portland State University.
