Instructor Bo Anselmo guides you through the process of converting an old quilt into wearable art!  Inspired by the history and presence of generations of women who created quilts from found and repurposed fabrics, make a timeless article of clothing from used textiles, giving them new life.  Bo is an artist, educator and expressive arts therapy student who has been creating and teaching art for many years. Bring an old quilt, an old pair of jeans that fit you, a working sewing machine, thread and bobbins for your sewing machine, any decorative beads or buttons you might want to use, and your joy and great sense of humor!  If you do not have a sewing machine, we have a limited number available to borrow, so please contact Leslie (lgoldman@cahoonmuseum.org).
