Museum Monday – May 24 is a great day to stop by the Cahoon – and admission is free!
The highlight of the day is an opportunity to meet realist painter Scott Prior and see his exhibition, “Illuminations,” Scott Prior will be at the museum from 11am – 2pm. The colorful abstract paintings and sculptures of Brewster artists Jackie deRuyter and Kate Nelson are also on view in the “Shape Shifters” exhibition. While you are at the Museum, enjoy an informal tour of the historic Crocker house and explore the Cahoon Studio to see the works of Ralph and Martha Cahoon, the Cape’s most beloved 20th century folk art painters. Treat yourself to something special in the Museum Shop, take a lunch break and absorb some culture, or call a friend and make it a special day. We’re here at the Museum ready to make your Monday! The Cape Cod Museum Trail’s Museum Mondays in May offers visitors no-cost admission to many of the most treasured cultural venues on Cape Cod.
