Michael Moore is a Senior Scientist at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. His recent book, We Are All Whalers: The Plight of Whales and Our Responsibility concerns how ongoing human activities have impacted the endangered North Atlantic Right Whale. Since 1986, Moore has investigated why populations of North Atlantic right whales have not rebounded as they could have in the eight decades since whaling was outlawed. Moore will describe how, we, as consumers can understand what is going on, and what we can do about the problem.
