Daina Shobrys: Where’s Iris?
April 28 – Fall 2023
Daina Shobrys creates monumental sculptures that pay homage to the importance of flowers to life on earth. An expert gardener, Shobrys finds inspiration in her home grown flowers and recreates them 12 times life size to call attention to the beauty and diversity of form, structure and color that may otherwise go unnoticed. The exhibition includes geranium, phlox, hydrangea, iris, and morning glory blossoms created from steel and fabric.
