Join exhibiting artist Carol Fitzsimonds in creating an altered book by folding book pages into a pattern and attaching decorative images with wire or glue. Each student will take home an original work of art that can be hung with a plate holder, displayed on a stand or stand free. Materials and museum admission are included in the cost, and light refreshments will be served. An altered book is a form of mixed media artwork that changes a book from its original form into a different form, altering its appearance and/or meaning.
