Join Ellen Duarte, experienced botanical artist and teacher, for some botany and painting as she guides you step by step through the specific process of botanical drawing and painting. Learn the standards, techniques, and processes that are unique to botanical painting. Improve your observational skills, focus on color mixing, and try new painting techniques, all while gazing at beautiful spring plants and flowers. Great for beginners or experienced artists.

This class meets 3 Thursdays, April 3, 10 and 17 allowing students to build their skills and practice at home between sessions. Materials and a materials list are provided. $185 per person/ $165 museum members.
