Great stories start with a compelling character. Illustrator and teacher Jessie Nickerson will lead you through exercises in writing and drawing to fully develop your character. You will leave with a complete character profile, including both written and visual components, that can be used as a starting point for your own personal narrative project. This workshop is perfect for both artists and writers who would like to begin working across disciplines.

Much of this class will be spent drawing, so some prior experience will be helpful but not necessary.
