Become attuned to the music nature constantly creates, from birdsong to ocean waves and discover how certain elements of nature can improve wellbeing in mere minutes – or even seconds! Learn how to play the kalimba and how it can function as a “musical stress ball”.

A Cape Cod native, Nick Suchecki holds a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Music from New England Conservatory.  Additionally, Nick has earned a Mind-Body Medicine education certification from Massachusetts General Hospital.  Currently, Nick is a PhD candidate at Lesley University, where his research focuses on the intersection of music, mindfulness, trauma, and ecopsychology. 

Nick’s teaching philosophy is rooted in empowering each student’s sense of wellness, belonging, and autonomy while considering how the mind and body can learn most efficiently.  In addition to teaching at the Cape Symphony, Nick is also an Adjunct Professor of Expressive Therapies at Lesley University.
