Quilt expert, collector and curator of the current exhibition Small Quilts, Big Stories, Julie Silber will discuss quilts as windows into culture.  She will share more about her own collection as well as how quilts hold the stories of the people who made them and document broader cultural trends.

Julie will be followed by contemporary quilt artist Joe Cunningham as he discusses his work in the exhibition Joe Cunningham: Quilts for These Times.  Learn more about Joe’s process and approach to contemporary quilting.
