In recent years, embroidery has been adapted by many artists into contemporary, mixed-media forms. In this program, participants will look at various works of art that have explored embroidery use in picture making and create a simple portrait, landscape, or still life using watercolor and/or collage. Pieces will then incorporate embroidery stitch for added texture and line.  All materials included.
