Wild Journals Workshop with Artist Susan Porter

Unleash your colorful side at the Cahoon Museum’s Wild Journals Workshop on September 19th, from 10am–4pm!

Join artist Susan Porter for a full day of creative exploration and discover new ways to transform an ordinary journal into something uniquely yours. Experiment with color, texture, collage, layering, and 3D elements while learning how to create secret compartments, flaps, tags, windows, and other unexpected details.

Whether you’re opening an art journal for the first time or looking for fresh inspiration for your existing practice, this workshop is designed to spark imagination, encourage experimentation, and send you home ready to keep creating.

Please bring a journal, personal photos you want to use, and a bagged lunch. All other materials are included.

Susan has exhibited at the Cahoon Museum and is an active member of New England Book Artists.
